Blogging is a way of sharing thoughts and ideas with people online, ranging from your family, to your friends, to people across the world.

Weblogs, commonly called "blogs" are online journals or diaries of ones life and are great for sharing information and ideas. They also can keep people updated on what is going on other's lives without having to make a phone call or send an email.

Blogs are easy to make and you do not need technical knowledge to do so. The most popular blogging services today are Wordpress and Blogger.

Blogs can be regularly updated or updated as you chose. You can even chose to delay your update as most blog posts are instaneous.

A blog is like owning a web page where you can comments, plus the links you find, and turn it into a daily journal of thoughts and ideas. You can even post videos and music.

In addition there are many ways to make money blogging. And the income can become pretty substantial.

Major univerisites across the world are recognizing how popular blogs have become and are offering their students and faculty blogs that are hosted on their servers. This is a great way to connect with other students and faculty at your own university and other universities across the world.
